Don't forget: the IRS tax filing deadline is Tuesday, April 17, 2012. With tax season in full swing, it's important to know what kind of federal tax breaks you might be eligible for as an educator. Most teachers purchase supplies for their classroom out of their own pockets throughout the school year. What you need to know is that if you are a teacher you can deduct up to $250 for unreimbursed classroom expenses.

St. Patrick's Day honors the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick, and celebrates Irish traditions. Everything from history, art, and culture can all be addressed in various ways for students both young and old.
